Yes. Both the counter value and step setting are automatically saved in your browser's localStorage. You can refresh or close the tab and continue counting when you come back. The data stays entirely on your device — nothing is uploaded to any server.
Yes. On desktop, press ↑ / + / = to increment, ↓ / - to decrement, and R to open the reset confirmation. A shortcut hint is shown at the bottom of the tool and automatically hidden on touch devices.
